Planning and Strategy:

Participate and contribute in the development of the department?s objectives, goals, plans and procedures; monitor their implementation and execution
Design and implement department?s strategy and roadmap to support the functional strategy
Monitor department?s progress periodically, assess progress of key projects / initiatives and guide team to resolve issues / challenges in achieving the planned objectives

Budget:

Develop the annual budget for the department in lines with the set objectives and business plan
Drive proper utilization of all the resources towards achievement of the department?s objectives and goals; review spend with respect to the budget and report progress made and challenges encountered to the director
Investigate and propose implementing strategies that result in positive financial impact for the directorate / department and mitigate financial and operational risks

Environmental Engineering:

Identify the civil, electrical and mechanical requirements of new and planned systems and ensure that they are met
Coordinate between Environmental Engineering Department and other SED departments to ensure that all requirements are met
Manage the planning and implementation of all civil, electrical and mechanical engineering activities to ensure proper coordination between all involved parties
