We are Modern Hamat Co actively seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician specializing in steam systems, with a strong background in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). This role will involve maintaining and troubleshooting steam-powered equipment such as laundry equipment (washing machines, dryers, folding machines), heaters, water heaters, and their associated electrical and mechanical components like valves, piping, transformers, andcontactors. A strong understanding of PLC programming and operation will significantly enhance your application.Responsibilities:Perform regular maintenance and inspections on steam boilers, heaters, water heaters, and steam-powered equipment, including laundry machinery.Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair issues related to steam systems and associated electromechanical components.Program, operate, and troubleshoot PLCs associated with the steam systems and equipment.Execute replacements of faulty components, ensuring safe and efficient operation of equipment.Collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers to coordinate maintenance schedules and prioritize tasks.Implement preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubrication, calibration, and adjustment of system components.Monitor and analyze system performance, identifying potential areas for improved efficiency and reliability.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all maintenance activities.Adhere to all applicable safety protocols and regulations.Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly in PLC programming and operation.
