Job Description

JOB PURPOSETo provide machinery, utilities, building and equipment electrical service in Plant per local / global standards with specific responsibility for identifying repair and/or replacement needs; installing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading electrical systems and equipment; assisting other skill trades; and ensuring that tools and materials are available at the job site in order to achieve manufacturing and plant requirements.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESPolicies, Processes & Procedures

  • Follows all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner
Day- to- Day Operations
  • Inspects electrical systems and their components for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance.
  • Requests equipment and supplies for the purpose of maintaining inventory and ensuring availability of items required to complete the necessary installation and/or repair.
Corrective & Preventive Maintenance
  • Diagnoses causes of electrical problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair
  • Repairs electrical components and/or systems (e.g. lightings, motors, circuits, generators, compressors, switches, intercom & IT systems, etc.) and ensure a safe working condition.
Projects & Initiatives
  • Installs electrical system components (e.g. lightings, flycatchers, alarms, electrical panels, switches, circuits, scoreboards, timers, electrical signs, etc.) for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded electrical capabilities.
  • Analyzes blueprints, schematics, and drawings of electrical systems for the purpose of determining the efficient installation of new or upgraded systems.
Safety, Quality & Environment
  • Complies with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment
Reporting
  • Prepares timely and accurate reports such as a checklist, job order, breakdown reports & etc. to meet company and department requirements, policies and standards
  • Participates in maintenance operations review as needed

  • Takes coverage on electrical systems of machinery, refrigeration & etc.
