Job Description

Job PurposeResponsible for the daily monitoring and/or maintenance of the Enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution. The main duties of this role will include proper care and administration of the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) environments and monitoring and responding to the alerts that generate from the tool. This role will interface with, IT Operations, Network Operations, Infrastructure teams, Legal, Risk Management, Internal Competition and Compliance teams.Responsibilities

  • Administration of the DLP tools which includes configuring of policies and reporting.
  • Monitor and respond to alerts generated from the DLP systems and other technologies in co-ordination with Security Operation Center (SOC) team.
  • Understand and follow the incident response process through event escalations. Respond to escalations by the Incident Response Team.
  • Work with vendors to support the DLP technology (troubleshooting, upgrades, etc.) and follow processes to maintain the DLP system
  • Communicates within IT teams and across departments as needed to build and maintain relationships with different departments, external partners, and vendors to make decisions regarding operational activity and technical configurations.
  • Proven effective verbal and written communication skill and ability to independently research and solve technical issues.
  • Good social, communication and technical writing skills and Ability to work in and adapt to a changing environment.
  • Monitor DLP system on a regular basis to ensure that the current IT infrastructure is stable and performs at acceptable levels at all times.
  • Demonstrated integrity in a professional environment.
  • Lead in achieving high internal customer satisfaction with the IT infrastructure and/or systems through establishment of measurable service standards.
  • Assist with the design and delivery of the DLP implementation including requirements, design, testing, pilot and enterprise implementation as well as Post Implementation Maintenance.
  • Expertise in maintaining and improving an already existing DLP solution, including developing incident response workflow for DLP incidents as raised through DLP tool.
  • Analyze reports from DLP tool and provide metrics to management and document solutions as needed for future DLP Analysis team.
  • Understand retail Automobile sector requirements and rules for implementing a DLP solution. Adhere to local policies and laws to ensure data movement is appropriate.
  • Define incident response workflow for DLP positive hits and Develop metrics for measuring effectiveness of the DLP solution
