Recruit, retain, develop, motivate and cultivate a productive team committed to demonstrating the Group?s core values and professional standards.Lead the corporate accountingteam through ongoing financial accounting activities through to the periodic consolidation and preparation of the IFRS financial statements for the Group and all subsidiaries on a monthly basis.Large focus areas include close process improvements for efficiency and scalability, continued focus on quality and internal control,cross-functional coordination and team effectiveness.Maintain intercompany accounts in balance.Support ERP strategyand roll-out as well as accounting policy and standard setting.Collaborate heavily with cross-functional peersin the corporate office (e.g. FP&A, Treasury, IT, HR, Legal,Operations, etc.) and throughout the Group.Maintain and lead a strong technical accounting and reportingteam in the areas of complex accounting transaction analysis, and reporting andanalysis.Continually seek to develop the accounting function from both organizational and financial process perspectives.Coordinate activities with external auditors.Maintenance of fixed asset records and ensure controls including asset tagging.Maintenance of inventory records and controls including regular counts.Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective internal controls.Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective finance policies and procedures and ensure proper governance across the group companiesImplement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting.Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations.Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
