The Communications & Outreach Coordinator will help create and execute center communications initiatives and monitor research developments/news. Responsibilities will include identifying and managing news updates in a fast-paced environment while cultivating relationships with the marketing team, and our center?s external partners. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated with a passion for media and science.Scope of Work? Maintenance and updating the department?s websites including publications, staff, research, etc. as well as refreshing with solid news stories gathered independently.? Design marketing and promotional materials for the center (brochures, flyers, PowerPoint presentation, posters, and other promotional media as required)? Planning, editing, and production of content for a variety of internal and external communication channels (including SharePoint and Sitefinity website, newsletters, social media posts, and others)? Develop, implement and manage social media campaigns.? Coordinate and monitor Center calendar and access for marketing and social media support requirements.? Collect data, information, and potential stories for promotional.? Coordination with other departments to carry out common projects.
