?Oversee all structural and civil design activities and manage the various stages of the structural and civil design process?Conduct structural and civil design reviews after review of Structural & Civil (Junior) to ensure that designs meet the project requirements and ACCL?s design standards while adhering to local regulations and applicable standards?Assist with the scoping of design activities and technical evaluation of bids (if required)?Coordinate with and Architectural & Interior to carry out structural design modifications for interfaces of building structures as required?Assist Structural & Civil (Junior) in periodic management of all structural consultants when required?Oversee detailed engineering drawing reviews and follow up with project team progress to monitor that construction progress is aligned with technical drawings?Ensure regular site visits and collaborate with project managers in identifying and flagging technical structural issues, solving project implementation technical issues by attending coordination meetings, proposing and validating viable technical workarounds?Oversee the identification of possible value engineering ideas to cut costs/time and simplify delivery, in coordination with project teams?Oversee the logging of all design changes in coordination with the GC/PMC?Liaise with Development Management to reflect any design changes in asset business plans and forecasts?Liaise with Government Relations to ensure the issuance of all required government permits and construction licenses?Assist Project Managers during design and execution with all design related issues?Develop and continuously improve ACCL?s structural and civil engineering standards?Support Architecture & Interior Design in developing pre-concept and concept design when required?Assess relevant variation order requests from PMC or GC and validate the request if justified
