Job Description

We are looking for a CTO for our Ecommerce marketplace platform. Job Summary: The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) is a crucial executive-level position in Jokarz marketplace, responsible for overseeing and leading the organizations technical operations and strategies. You will play a critical role in driving innovation, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning technology initiatives with the companys overall goals and objectives. Working closely with the CEO, you will be a technology and business partner, forming key decisions that will impact the operations of the company.Primary Functions and Responsibilities

  1. Technical Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership in all aspects of technology, including research, development, implementation, and maintenance of the organizations technical infrastructure.
  2. Technology Strategy: Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement a comprehensive technology roadmap that aligns with the companys business objectives, ensuring the effective utilization of technology to drive growth and productivity.
  3. Innovation and Research: Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement. Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance the companys technical capabilities.
  4. Team Management: Build and lead a high-performing technical team, including software developers, engineers, data scientists, and IT professionals. Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
  5. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technology projects. Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  6. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks related to technology, cybersecurity, and data privacy. Develop and implement effective strategies and protocols to safeguard the organizations technical assets and information.
  7. Collaboration and Communication: Foster effective cross-functional collaboration between technical teams and other departments, such as marketing, operations, and finance. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  8. Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and ensure the selection of reliable and cost-effective solutions that align with the companys needs.
