The CFO will be a strategic thought-partner, and report to the CEO / Board members.
Be hands-on and participative and lead and develop an internal team to support the all the business functions.
He will ensure working capital and cash flow of the company is efficiently managed and correct accounting & internal control procedures are followed, audit and reconciliations are carried out in time in such a way that up to date and accurate information is always available from the ERP system.
Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate - weekly, monthly, half yearly and annual financial statements; collate financial reporting materials for all channels, and oversee all financial accounting.
Coordinate and lead the annual audit process, liaise with external auditors and assess any changes necessary.
Oversee and lead annual budgeting and planning process in conjunction with the CEO; administer and review all financial plans and budgets; monitor progress and changes and keep the CEO abreast of the organization?s financial status.
Manage organizational cash flow and forecasting.
Implement a robust dealer incentive management and financial management/ reporting system; ensure that the billing and collection schedule is adhered to and that financial data and cash flow are steady and support operational requirements.
Update and implement all necessary business policies and accounting practices & improve the Finance & Credit department?s overall policy and procedure manual.
Effectively communicate and present the critical financial matters to the senior management.
Work closely and transparently with all external partners including third-party vendors and consultants.
Ensure organization wide cost control measures are initiated across all departments and a regular report is submitted to the Senior management.
Oversee administrative and support functions as well as facilities to ensure efficient and consistent operations as the organization scales.
Guidance:To actively contribute towards strategic planning and decision making at the Management level.Management:To ensure that the cash flow of the Group is efficiently managed through cash flow forecasting, working capital monitoring and prudent use of bank facilities.Facility Management:To obtain and maintain various bank facilities based on the business requirements.Management:To Review all dealer & customer incentive agreements. that the agreed incentive is in line with approvals from marketing and confirmed by management.To actively monitor and push for collection of overdue receivables.To ensure a smooth cash flow through efficient collection management.To ensure the weighted average credit days are reduced below 60 days (overall)To secure 100% balance confirmation before passing any Credit for year-end dealer incentives.All credit notes must be approved by CEO (Zero deviation). Personally responsible for strict compliance of this policy.To monitor the sales team to reduce the sales returns percentage as well as minimize the damage returns.Management:To ensure that correct accounting, finance, revenue recognition, management accounting and internal control policies and procedures are followed within the Group and provide guidance to Finance and Accounts team and Department Heads on these matters including designing of procedures for new ventures & scenarios and revising existing procedures.Capital Management:To efficiently manage the working capital and cash flow of the company by ensuring timely settlement of bank and creditor?s liabilities through cash flow forecasting, ensuring timely realization of receivables and prudent use of trade finance and other bank facilities.Control:To prepare annual budgets in co-ordination with Department Heads, periodically assess performance against the same, analyze the variances and initiate corrective measures, where required.Control:To ensure that correct credit control policies and procedures are followed within the Group and provide strategic guidance to GM Credit, Credit controller and department heads on these matters including taking proactive steps.Control:To ensure that proper procedures with required internal controls are in place to avoid frauds and irregularities for all operational and finance activities including all types of sales promotions, sundry clients, customer advances, credit card transactions, partner redemptions, gift vouchers, items sent for service, advance paid for service, customer collections, cash purchases, advance payments, payment processing, cash handling, bank transactions, petty cash, documentation, payroll etc.Closing: To ensure that month closing is carried out, wherein all ledger accounts are scrutinized & reconciled, unusual and long pending balances are analysed & corrective steps are taken, external supporting documents are obtained and necessary reports are submitted to superiors, within timelines and the same is reviewed within two days.Finalization & Audits:To ensure that Accounts are finalized in accordance with IAS & IFRS and interim & final audits are carried out in time.
