Perform the assigned duties as per the set policies and procedures in order to achieve the department goals.
Read work orders and instructions to perform the assigned tasks.
Use the technical skills to ensure that the lab is properly maintained and repaired with the minimum of downtime.
Perform lab installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
Perform lab testing on daily basis as required and submit a report about the results.
Perform laboratory tests for different samples.
Maintain all the tools and machines by ensuring that it is used in a proper way and are kept in a safe place.
Assist in updating the test requests in the logbook with all the available details.
Receive, label and analyze received steel samples.
Prepare update reports about the work performed and submit them to the direct manager.
Adherence to the safety and health regulations during work operations.
Perform any other tasks related to the job assigned by the direct manager.
