Function/Department : Asset ManagementPosition Title & Location : Channel Team Lead ? Field Team , Jeddah or RiyaadPosition Purpose : The Wholesale Channel Team Lead is to lead and manage the wholesale channel across MENA ensuring the proper asset management controls are in place to ensure the integrity of CHEP pooling system and to avoid losses.Major/Key Accountabilities : ?????Managing the subordinates? performance through conducting periodical follow up sessions, their PDPs, and continuous coaching/providing guidance.?????Developing tailor made development plans for each subordinate providing support when needed.?????Driving team engagement and encouraging team work and collaboration within the team and cross functionally.?????Train subordinates to ensure they are capable of performing their job at the highest levels?????Develops and manages the team?s client visits schedule and implement the proper controls to ensure the adherence of this schedule?????Manage the client training in equipment control procedures?????Manage customer equipment queries and ensure they are resolved promptly ?????Assist in having continuous visits and calls on non-participating distributors and pallet recycler locations to recover CHEP assets that have fallen out of the network (when needed) ?????Manage the collection of pallets and ensures overall channel adherence to the targeted cycle time?????Tracking and recovery of non-participating distributor transfers into the territory annually.?????Ensure the stock audits are conducted as per the agreed SOP?????Lead the field team in offering solutions to problems identified with equipment losses and damages.?????Provide assistance and training in implementing recommended changes.?????Validate the report on Losses & surpluses?????Manage the delivery of stock audits as per the Hire Stock Audit Plan?????Utilizing the monthly reports to identify risks/challenges and opportunities and cascading to team?????Manage the overall channel performance?????Report on monthly KPI?s via scorecard?????Ensure channel team provides the right support in regards to the delivery of invoices and following up on payments?????Support the team in conducting monthly customer meetings (when needed)Challenges : ????Varying and extensive work hours for different times of year, e.g. Ramadan ? working to local times required. ????Extensive travel required will be required at times????Working with local Arabic cultures, sensitivity required ????Working autonomously & having limited access to immediate managerQualifications :????????Essential: Bachelors Degree (preferably with Supply Chain degree)Experience :General working experience: 5 years + along with 2-3 years of managerial experienceIndustry specific knowledge and/or experience in terms of logistics and supply chain management processes, preferably in the Retail Market Sector
