Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and customer service-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing excellent service to our customers. Your primary goal is to ensure a positive customer experience and uphold the reputation of our establishment.Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide them with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Scan, bag, and process customer purchases using the POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Handle cash, and credit/debit card payments, and provide accurate change to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized checkout area, ensuring products are appropriately displayed and labeled.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide information about products, services, and promotions.
  • Assist customers with locating items and making product recommendations.
  • Resolve customer complaints or assist in escalating issues to the supervisor, if necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Maintain accurate transaction records and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge and effectively communicate new offerings to customers.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines, contributing to a safe and secure work environment.
