To provide hands-on service in respect of maintenance and repair of all types of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment within the terminal.
To ensure that all terminal requirements in respect of refrigeration and air conditioning are met and to maintain the highest standards of work quality and throughput consistent with the availability of resources.
Also to identify problem areas, repair and advise his superiors accordingly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Monitoring, maintenance, and repair of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment within the terminal.
Ensuring that work is performed to the highest standard consistent with resources, the time available, and operational requirements.
Identifying problem areas and advising his superiors accordingly.
Responsible for detailed parts and material identification to fulfill his priorities and for the acquisition of the parts and materials from stores.
Communicating effectively with superiors as well as other department staff to ensure that information relating to the repair and maintenance of equipment is available when required.
