Contracts/Commercial Engineer - Infrastructure

Guildhall is working with an international engineering company who have projects right across Africa and are vital to the development of the infrastructure of the continent. This marine works project has recently been awarded so it is a great time to join while the team is being formed.We are assisting them in searching for a Contracts/Commercial Engineer from a Civil or Quantity Surveying background to the commercial/contracts function of this 3-year project.- Supports tendering and procurement processes in accordance with the clients requirements.- Preparation of contractual agreements.- Contract administration duties including but not limited to claims mitigation, change management and correspondence control.- Preparation of Change Orders, Work Orders, for multi-services. A strong understanding of oil and gas terminology is required.- Ensure that all contracts and Procurement documentation is transparent incorporating effective use of databases and filing systems. REQUIREMENTS: In order to be considered for this opportunity candidates should be able to demonstrate the following skills and qualifications:- Degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying- Infrastructure construction experience- 5 to 10 years experience in commercial and contracts- Able to relocate on short notice
