Job Title: Virtualization and Storage Engineering Support*Location : KuwaitSecurity Clearance: Position requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearanceDue to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.*** Position is contingent upon contract award. ***Job Responsibilities:Trace Systems is actively seeking a Virtualization and Storage Engineering Support* to join our team in Kuwait.Duties include:? Design and build strategic network virtualization and storage capabilities.? Design, optimize, and oversee the implementation of short and long term data networks initiatives.? Shall design and deploy information technologies and taxonomies at the enterprise level.? Conduct cost analysis and evaluate vendor capabilities to provide the required products or services.? Shall analyze functional problems and determine techniques /requirements feasible for expedited solutions.? Shall implement hardware/software and network systems based on best practices in accordance with DISA guidelines.Minimum Qualifications:? Shall have detailed knowledge of the complete VMware datacenter and desktop technology stack.? Shall have detailed knowledge of alternative hypervisor platforms and their management capabilities (Xen, XenServer, Kernel Virtual Machine (KVM), and Hyper-V)? Shall have detailed knowledge of storage and network virtualization technologies, capabilities, trends and the automated interaction with the physical infrastructure (External Memory Controller (EMC), NetApp, etc.,..).? Shall have detailed knowledge of virtualization management and monitoring technologies, capabilities and market trends.? Shall have knowledge and familiarity in IT platforms, storage, and network virtualization architecture and engineering.? Shall have knowledge and familiarity designing automated data center processes, including provisioning, application and patch management, monitoring and alerting, capacity monitoring and planning, leveraging execution and human approval workflow design and implementation.? Shall have knowledge and familiarity with Business Continuity and Disaster Recover design, planning and implementation for virtualized infrastructures.? Shall have knowledge and familiarity with Cloud methodologies (Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS)), automation, orchestration, cost frameworks, trends and industry-leading private/public/hybrid cloud vendor offerings and interoperability.? Shall have technical documentation skills.? Shall have communication and interpersonal skills.? Shall be VMWare Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP) or VMWare Certified Professional (VCP).? Shall be Netapp Certified Implementation Engineer preferred SAN & Virtualization.? Shall be Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)? Shall be Project Management Professional (PMP) qualified within the last 10 years? Shall have minimum of 10 years experience years experience within the CENTCOM AOR managing information technology projects? Shall have four (4) years related work experience and shall have two (2) years experience in a military environment.? Position requires an active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance.? Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.Education:?Bachelor s degree in Information Systems Managements (preferred) or related field, OR; An associate s degree plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; a major certification plus 7 years of recent specialized experience, OR; 11 years of recent specialized experience.Trace SystemsTrace Systems , headquartered in Vienna, Virginia, was founded in 1999 to support and defend our nation's security interests at home and abroad whenever and wherever.
