Lead power generation crews to maintain power generators, troubleshoot faults, repair/replace components and generators, maintain documentation, adhere to environmental guidelines, and ensure that all departmental processes are followed? Coordinate with various departments on installations/generator replacements, scheduled outages, and daily operations? Order, receive, and oversee inventory of service and replacement parts for power generators? Coordinate and schedule regular generator services and refueling missions? Optimize the placement of generators through trend analysis of load data? Adhere to property control procedures for all equipment? Inspect and maintain fuel tanks, secondary containments, and electrical wiring? Perform load calculations in order to properly size power generators for various types of facilities? Perform other duties as assigned Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.? Other duties as assigned by managementJob Requirements? Minimum four (4) years of experience with power generators, including at least 18 months at a foreman level? High School Diploma or equivalent? Prefer graduate of an accredited diesel school? Prefer LOGCAP/US military training in power generation, diesel, and electrical job fields? Valid Driver's LicensePreferred Qualifications? Ability to interpret and apply manufacturer repair manuals, technical specifications, schematics, engineering drawings, and diagnostic tools? In-depth knowledge and ability to perform maintenance on power generation equipment to include engine, Alternating Current (AC) alternators, electronic controls, electrical wiring, and accessories? Knowledge in electrical theory and a deep understanding of power equations? Skill in load testing, all calculations that must be done, and safety measures
