A pro-active, tactical approach will be strategic in positioning and unlocking the correct solutions relating to business change, considering all options with the ability to present the correct recommendations based on evaluation of each potential option.The role is aligned to the Architecture, Innovation & Automation team within HR Systems and will work closely with global stakeholders, regional stakeholders and where necessary across Global HR Systems to ensure close working relationships and ultimately team success in the delivery of Change, Projects, & Improvements.The holder will promote new ways of working, champion quality and build effective, long lasting relationships across HR, operating across technical, organisational and process challenges to drive design of enterprise solutions with Employee Experience at the forefront of their thinking whilst also ensuring robust BAU process support where requiredAccountabilities

  • Directly inputs to the Architecture exhibits for both Systems and Integration landscapes based on impacting projects or change requests.
  • Assists with the structure and ongoing refinement of HR Systems Roadmap.
  • Represents HR Systems on monthly Operation Design Authority (ODA) which could include positioning of initiatives, solution options and recommendations for formal decision by the group.
  • A key contributor within HR Systems Change Approval Board (CAB), assisting in impact assessment and ultimate decisions related to projects, change requests or continuous improvements received.
  • RFP Forum representative, assisting with a technical view/scoring of vendor capabilities.
  • Supports Project delivery from an architecture perspective, ensuring established principles are followed without exception.
  • Validates Project Timelines to ensure all relevant phases are considered and timeline is achievable.
  • Proactively partners with stakeholders to identify, propose and shape solutions (Ad Hoc on occasion but normally as part of the Change Process).
  • Partners with other HR Systems Team representatives to share knowledge and best practice relating to system functional areas, actively promoting the sharing of their expertise to enable team growth.
  • Change Request/Project work as required, where solutioning is initially required, through to handover into delivery resources once solution is shaped and fully agreed.
  • Understands and actively researches the HR systems technology market, seeking out opportunities to enable enhanced experiences and automation
  • Works alongside Innovation and Automation specialists in identifying further internal opportunities to further exploit RPA opportunities, enabling the RPA Roadmap
  • Understands the value of proposed work and questions if the benefits outweigh the delivery, looks for real return on investment
  • Embraces cross functional learnings to enhance all aspects of HR Systems Architecture
