Job Description

SummaryThis role will typically be aligned to specific businesses or sectors. This category will include those EHS professionals involved in ?designing for EHS? (NPI), individuals responsible for customer or industry engagement, and EHS professionals working at customer sites or projects (generally not managing teams of EHS professionals or regions).GE Healthcare is a leading global medical technology and digital solutions innovator.   • Filing regulatory monthly, quarterly & annual reports (Environmental Statement, Hazardous waste report so on)
  • Injury & ilIness record keeping and investigation
  • Coordinate ISO 14001 documentation & prepare for audits
  • Conduct plant walkthrough, interaction with shop floor employees
  • Prepare and participate in Safety Committee meeting
  • Coordinate site with projects on risk reduction, energy & waste conservation
  • Coordinate with Suppliers, vendor & Service providers for procurement, with taking quotation, raising purchase orders & payments
  • Contractor Management ? issue work permit and inspections
  • Prepare site level Communicates on key EHS occasions
  • Provide training to employees and contractors
  • Support Element team on implementation of EHS framework and programs
  • Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking.
  • Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.
  • Prepare site readiness for internal & external Audits & inspections
  • Preferably knowledge in Gensuite tools
Required Qualifications
  • BE / M Tech Environmental Engineering or Diploma in Industrial Safety with relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing setup (shop floor experience)
Desired Characteristics
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Experience in Gensuite tools
