Sales Specialist-Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM)This position works out of our UAE location in the Cardiac Rhythm Management division.About Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) DivisionAs a global leader in Cardiac Rhythm Technologies, we focus on innovative technologies that can improve the way doctors treat people with heart arrhythmias, or irregular heartbeats.As CRM Sales Specialist, youll promote Abbott CRM products through education of current and potential customers and procedure coverage within a defined territory within Middle East region.Under the general supervision of the MEO Country Manager, the CRM Sales Specialist is mainly responsible to providing:
  • Proficiency clinical support on Abbott Devices for CRM
  • Drive CRM business with sales support in order to assist in achieving projected sales goals and increasing sales revenues.
What Youll Do:Clinical Support: responsible for CRM Cases support inside the EP Lab.Other involvements will be demonstration, set-up, testing and service of Company products which include CRM devices and programmers diagnosis, monitoring, managing and treating heart arrhythmias:Provide technical support on the devices to customers and prospective customers by responding to inquiries and providing effective high level service. Provide educational and training support to customers and prospective customers including on-site clinical training for physicians and other medical personnel. Represent the Company as a professional and competent resource in support of client and Abbott objectives.Sales Support: Responsible for the CRM disposables business.Continuous follow-up with distributors on targets with respect to the managed line of business.Supporting distributors with new product launches, education and team certification. Provide support for sales and marketing personnel in the set up and demonstration of Company products including the development and presentation of sales proposals. Provide technical support to customers and prospective customers by responding to inquiries and providing effective and timely resources and/or personal competences. Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with physicians and EP Lab personnel.Accountability / Scope / Budget
  • (Influence/Leadership) Cultivates a wide range of internal networks and begins to develop anexternal network of resources to facilitate completion of tasks. May demonstrate basic project management skills by acting as a project lead on small, well defined projects. Provides guidance to less experienced staff. Influence exerted at peer level and occasionally at first levels of management.
  • (Planning/Organization) Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own daily work routine to meet established schedule.
  • (Decision Making/Impact) Exercises authority and judgment within defined limits to determine appropriate action. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays and may result in the allocation of additional resources.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree plus minimum 3 years of related work experience in CRM product line with a good understanding of specified functional area, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Working knowledge and application of business concepts, procedures and practices. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action. Has a general knowledge of technical alternatives and an understanding of their impact on the systems environment.
  • Willingness & ability to travel approximately 50 % of the time.
