Represent the company in a professional and diligent manner always.? Manage projects including organization of junior staff and project delivery to time and cost requirements.? Responsible for reporting the progress of all assigned tasks to the head department and.? Implements specific plumbing & firefighting and mechanical works in accordance with the work program of a project or as requested within his department.? Prepares and assists with the preparation of technical reports, schemes, bills of quantities, cost estimates, etc.? Carries out designs of plumbing & firefighting and mechanical works, drawings, tender documents, etc., as required.? Preparing layouts, calculations and designs related to the most complicated elements of projects? Designing and detailing complicated new components from previous designs based on engineering instructions, government and regulatory codes and client standards? Undertakes special and/or project assignments as required by the Senior or Principal Engineer.? Good Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, regulations, guides and good practice.? Responsible for preparing and presenting mechanical designs at design reviews.? Highlights all mechanical technical risks to the Engineering Manager.? Keeps up to date with the latest manufacturing techniques and drawing standards.? Responsible for carrying out design change requests in a timely manner.? Ensures the mechanical design output fits in with all other aspects of the design.? Works and interfaces within a multi-disciplinary team.? Undertake site visits i.e. surveys and prepare reports.? Communicate with clients, advising on suitable technical solutions to client's requirements, fees and timescales etc.? Providing technical and quality guidance to department staff? Establishing scopes of work for each project or proposal? Scheduling and expediting department work
