A contractor company is looking for Material Engineer who has experience in Roads/Infrastructure.Available to Join: ImmediateJob Description:-Preparing of Materials Submittals and maintain updated records of approved materials.- Preparing Inspection & Test Plans. Randomly visit and inspect supplier's manufacturing plant. -Daily and weekly checking of all material used on site for compliance, availability and quality.- Monitor activities to ensure construction, materials, and installations comply with project specifications and quality control criteria. -Inspection and checking of bored piling and diaphragm wall constructions, steel cages and pile testing. -Preparing construction materials inspections to ensure adherence to quality control program. -Preparing inspection of concrete defects (cracks, honeycomb, cold joints etc.) repair methods. -Preparing of the contractor's testing work. Ensure that all materials are tested according to the specified frequencies. -Ensures that the approved Inspection and Test Plan is being followed-. Ensure all laboratory equipment are certified and calibrated. -Request third party assessment when required. -Preparing concrete trial mix designs and asphalt mix designs. - Coordinates and liaise with Client, Consultant and Supplier.
