Job Description

Main Job Purpose:Mashreq & Maghreb Quality Manager role works within North Africa & Middle East and manages quality governance and leadership end to end covering the full chain in the business, starting from design, innovation to till the product goes to consumer.This role focuses on Manufacturing and Route to Market operations, implementing, executing, improving and providing technical quality support to manufacturing/logistics/distribution sites, repacking operations, customers, Brand Teams , SC teams, Procurement and R&D on Quality Management System compliance, regulatory compliance, and incident management.Key Responsibilities:- Leads Quality in Integrated Business & Quality platforms and supports the development of Quality links to Business and SC Strategy.- Leads ensuring, verifying, developing and calibrating UL Quality Management System across Mashreq & Maghreb in all operations end to end ensuring compliance to UL GMP and Quality Standards requirements.- Leads/Supports local marketplace product quality incident management and consequent actions investigation and resolution of product quality incidents linked to Mashreq & Maghreb, leads Incident management reporting per Unilever IM requirements.- Leads tracking and delivery Mashreq & Maghreb Quality KPIs: data is analyzed, and improvement projects are activated and followed up and communicated to management (Exco, SCLT, CCBT, SUs etc as relevant) . Prepares/submits/presents required quality updates & reports to Leadership Teams to raise visibility, alignment and set priorities gaining support for Quality improvement.- Leads or supports development of Q improvement activities based on the monitoring and manipulation of marketplace data from multiple channels (e.g. consumer & customer care lines, shelf inspections, warehouse & re-packer data, employee observations, etc.).- Leads/Supports/ participates in Quality Verifications / Audits / Technical Visits / Operational Reviews across Mashreq & Maghreb operations end to end and leads/support gap closure activities & programs and supports for resolution of quality / consumer safety issues.- Supports in execution and communication of local regulatory requirements and changes and supports work within the BUs to ensure compliance on Quality related topics.- Leads/Supports ensuring that capabilities of existing and new materials suppliers, new manufacturing/logistics partners/distributors, co-makers to meet UL Quality requirements is verified through technical capability assessments and manages/supports the activities that assure quality / hygienic control processes are in place and operating effectively. REQUIREMENTS: Required Experience:- 9+ years of experience in Supply Chain Quality- Bachelors degree in Engineering (chemical/quality/production/industrial/mechanical)- FMCG/Industrial background is preferred- Additional experience in Supply Chain or R&D is a plus
