Position SummaryWorkshop Manager manages LIN SCAN Tools Fleet in specific region, assesses tool conditions afterruns, and controls all spare parts for any tools in the territory.General responsibilities? Comply always and fully with LIN SCAN HSE requirements? Be quality conscious (dynamic approach towards quality improvement and aim at gettingthings right first time)? Maintain confidentiality, integrity and safeguard LIN SCAN trade secrets? Respect and support fellow employees at all times? Respond to changes positively (technical advancements as well as organizationaladaptations)? Act in such a manner that LIN SCAN?s reputation is highly respected? Be results-oriented; alert others timely when a task may not produce the required result forLIN SCAN?s final product? Follow LIN SCAN?s Process Flow Charts and interact with other departments when required? Identify training requirementsJob Functions, Responsibilities ? Sets up of the workshop and implementation of system that will allow for both physical andsystem stock control, asset movement monitoring, and organized procurement? Organizes all equipment (storage, labelling, systematization)? Constantly reviews operation plan and tools/spares requirements for Russia /CIS projects(with Tool Manager Head of Department, Tool Manager Representative and Project Managers)? Assures that minimum stock requirements per quarter are set and orders placed in time forrequired tools and spares? Is fully responsible for organization of local supply chain:? agreeing with Tool Manager and Quality Manager which spares can be locallyproduced/ordered? selecting reputable local suppliers with favorable payment terms and needed quality (longerJOB DESCRIPTION? Is fully responsible for logistics:? - selecting reputable and efficient custom clearance agents for international shipments;? - agreeing clear payment terms;? - assuring on time movement of equipment within Rus/CIS? Assures workshop HSE requirements are met? Assures administrative work on workshop rent, utilities management, part time hiring oflifting equipment, vehicles, manpower support? Controls and fulfills workshop budget maintenance? Assures that any tools/spares going From or incoming to the workshop passed quality testsand maintenance of Quality records? Has an authority to take disciplinary? actions on parties not following the process, andespecially when having an impact on:? - Asset Value;? - tool quality;? - safety;? -reporting? Is fully responsible for reporting once per week against quarterly Admin Workshop Plan andTool/Spares movement plan? Monitors and controls tools fleet in whole territory? Participates in intra- and inter- departmental meetings? Controls tool movement to any project, ensures TM approval of tool movement prior to toolmobilization? Assesses tool condition after run either directly by examining the tool or indirectly based ontool condition report received from Operations; submits tool condition reports to HO, requestsspare parts if and as required.? Advises TM on required tools, equipment and documentation improvement? Ensures efficient utilization of tools & equipment? Ensures optimum tools & equipment condition by conducting regular maintenance activities? Controls spare parts and maintains minimum stock quantity in the territory store? Ensures tools and spare parts are stored in proper condition and in suitable environment? Ensures Operations supplies all runs reports to TM? Prepare list of tools and spares required for operation? Renders assistance to sales enquiries? Ensure any tool going back to UAE is assembled on tray; secure the tool movement inside thebox.? Ensuring ILI/cleaning Tools are stored and kept ready in a proper manner
