Job Description

We are seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Sulfur Technology to join the Worley team. The successful candidate will have design and technology selection experience in:

  • Claus Process
  • Sulfur Recovery Units (SRU)
  • Tail Gas Treating Units (TGTUs)
  • Oxygen Enrichment Technology
  • Liquid Sulfur Degassing Facilities
  • Sulphur Forming/Utility Systems
Also desirable is experience in:
  • Sulfuric Acid
  • Merox
  • Acid Gas Flares
  • Sulfur Blocking
  • Sulfur Storage
As a lead process engineer:
  • Must be able to lead and give direction to a team of engineers and designers to generate or work on discipline deliverables and drawings.
  • Responsible for the schedule and budget performance of the discipline team assigned to him.
  • Responsible for the technical integrity of the disciplines work performed under his direction and for the observance of project HSE requirements relevant to his teams workscope.
  • Supervises the work of senior engineers, process engineers and designers
  • Provides technical advice (process) to engineers from other disciplines.
  • Participates in/leads technical review meetings.
  • Sets the objectives and requirements of site surveys and plant visits to determine constraints in the existing facilities systems or their operations that may influence the overall design concept and process design and layout be able to work with other disciplines recommend the most economical solutions.
