Job Description

On behalf of a Saudi-based FMCG Food and Beverage Trading Company, we seek a Traditional Trade Sales Manager to be based in the Eastern or western region of Saudi Arabia Plan, direct, and implement sales strategies, plans, and activities to achieve or exceed regional sales objectives.Build and develop relationships with key customers, monitor the performance of sales teams, and address emerging market issues.Monitor competitor performance, plan and organize the implementation of sales strategies, and improve the companys public image.Implement appropriate sales strategies to achieve the companys sales, revenue, and profitability goals.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Contribute to preparing the annual sales budget to achieve strategic objectives and sales goals. Oversee and implement the annual sales plan, ensuring measures are in place for growth and corrective actions are taken as needed.
  • Develop sales plans and budgets to meet or exceed regional objectives, and monitor and control the sales budget for optimal resource use.
  • Drive sales through a team of salespeople, conduct market visits to assess coverage and competitor activity, and seek new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain an effective distribution network to ensure product availability and meet sales targets.
  • Ensure sales administration procedures are properly implemented and coordinate with the storehouse supervisor to maintain inventory levels.
  • Develop the regional sales management structure, ensure proper staffing and training, and manage A/R targets through daily sales and aging.
  • Maintain communication with key customers to meet their expectations and pursue new business opportunities to expand market share.
  • Develop periodic reports and handle additional tasks as directed by the manager.
