Job Description

We are looking for a Safety Officer to join our team in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of our employees and maintaining a safe working environment. You will be responsible for implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting safety inspections, and providing safety training to employees. The ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, and be able to effectively communicate safety guidelines to employees.Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures
  2. Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
  3. Investigate accidents and incidents to determine the cause and implement preventive measures
  4. Provide safety training to employees and ensure compliance with safety regulations
  5. Maintain safety records and prepare reports on safety performance
  6. Coordinate with external agencies, such as fire departments and occupational health and safety authorities, as required
  7. Stay updated on safety regulations and industry best practices
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 1-5 years of experience as a Safety Officer
  2. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other safety-related software
  7. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  8. Flexibility to work in different locations and shifts
  9. Relevant certifications in safety management
