To lead reservoir engineering operations for Khafji B1 Asset, including simulation, well testing for production, development depletion planning to optimize utilization of well, facilities, economies, etc., and conduct and participate in the analysis of well performance to determine any change to well and any course of action to be taken recommending operational procedures to ensure maximum oil recovery.Conducts technical evaluation and verification of contractors? pre-qualification documents and assesses each contractor capabilities and reports to the Supervisor, to ensure the selection of appropriately qualified contractors at the optimum price and required standards.Contributes to the planning of the development well and workover (D&W) drilling programs and reservoir engineering programs for the B1 field in conformity with the Company?s long-range plan and within approved budgets to meet established production targets.Contributes to litho-logical and textural characterization/rock typing and relation to fluid flow, building /updating and up-scaling 3D static models, and characterization of fluid systems.Develops market intelligence on the latest available reservoir technology and identifies & recommends (to the Supervisor) the required technology (like artificial lift methods) to be acquired to support and enhance Reservoir engineering practices.
