Job Description

Our company is looking for a skilled Production Supervisor to oversee our wood manufacturing operations in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate should have at least 2-5 years of experience in a similar role in the wood industry. The Production Supervisor will be responsible for managing the production process, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards, and supervising a team of production workers.Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and organize production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resources.
  2. Supervise and monitor the activities of production workers to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  3. Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and maintenance, to ensure smooth production flow.
  4. Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and productivity.
  5. Train and develop production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  6. Monitor and control production costs to maximize profitability.
  7. Troubleshoot and resolve any production-related issues or bottlenecks.
  8. Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on production performance.
  9. Implement and promote lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as a Production Supervisor in the wood industry.
  2. Bachelors degree in Wood Engineering or a related field.
  3. Strong knowledge of wood manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality standards.
  4. Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  7. Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  8. Proficient in using production management software and tools.
  9. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  10. Fluency in Arabic and English languages.
