Job Description

Job SummaryProduction Coordinator is responsible for coordinating with production manager for fulfilling production material requirement, logistics and sales to fulfill finished goods target every month. He ensures the raw material inventory levels are up to mark for smooth production operations and production schedule is in line with sales target and additional orders that may arise at any time.Job Responsibilities:Oversee Production Process

  • Oversee day to day production activities. Allocate work to labours and packers aligned with production schedule
  • Check the packaging materials quality and managing returning of damaged raw materials
  • Oversee the storage of produced goods and raw materials. Follow the standard operating procedures for storage
  • Oversee loading, unloading and transportation of raw materials and finished products
  • Request manpower or safety equipment as necessary
  • Ensure health and safety compliance for production process
  • Coordinate with Warehouse Manager / Logistics Supervisor for handling of urgent demand
  • Manage data entry in ERP system related to production orders
  • Hands on supervision of new machine installation according to plan and proper positioning in accordance with production line loop flow.
Facility / Equipment Maintenance
  • Conduct regular check and maintenance of production facility and equipment
  • Provide updates and alerts to supervisor regarding a maintenance requirement with severity of the issue
  • Machine trouble shooting and maintenance from time to time.
HSE
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedure, and standards established by the company
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PEE) when required
  • Promptly report any work-related incident, injury, or near misses to Site Safety Team or Line Manager.
Job Requirements
  • Secondary education with diploma in packaging or mechanical engineering
  • Training Certificate in Health & Safety Awareness
  • 3+ years of experience in packaging department of FMCG company
  • Technical Expertise and experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in written and verbal Arabic language
