Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Planning Engineer to join our team in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules, monitoring progress, and ensuring that projects are completed within budget and on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project planning and scheduling, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain project schedules using project management software.
  2. Monitor project progress and identify any potential delays or issues.
  3. Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  4. Prepare reports and presentations on project status and performance.
  5. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  6. Review and analyze project specifications, technical drawings, and other documentation to identify requirements and constraints.
  7. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and resolve any issues that may arise.
  8. Participate in meetings and discussions with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  9. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
  10. Provide guidance and support to junior planning engineers and other team members.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience as a Planning Engineer in the construction industry.
  3. Proficient in using project management software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
  4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  7. Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  8. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  9. Knowledge of Saudi Arabian construction regulations and standards.
  10. Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
