Job Description

Job Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Network Team Read to join our IT department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a teamof network engineers and technicians in designing, implementing, and maintaining our company?s network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of network engineers and associated staff, setting clear objectives and monitoring team performance.
  • Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks.
  • Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, WAN accelerators, DNS and DHCP.
  • Procure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved with network installation.
  • Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
  • Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
  • Arrange scheduled upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work.
  • Document network layouts and configurations and keep these documents up to date.
  • Ensure data and system security through regular audits and compliance checks.
  • Respond to network-related issues promptly and resolve escalated issues as required.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
  • Mentor and develop staff through training plans and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine and address their network needs and requirements.
  • Manage and report on allocation of IT budget.
