Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mud Logger to join our team. As a Mud Logger, you will be responsible for monitoring drilling operations and analyzing rock and fluid samples. Your main goal will be to provide accurate data and analysis in order to support the successful completion of drilling projects.Job Responsibilities:- Monitor drilling activities and record data such as drilling parameters, rock samples, and gas levels.- Evaluate and analyze drilling samples to determine lithology, porosity, permeability, and identify potential hydrocarbon zones.- Monitor drilling fluids and recommend adjustments as needed to maintain optimal drilling conditions.- Prepare detailed reports and logs summarizing drilling activities, findings, and any operational issues.- Collaborate with the geology team to identify potential drilling hazards and make recommendations to mitigate risks.- Utilize various equipment and software tools to collect, monitor, and interpret data.- Conduct regular maintenance and calibration of logging equipment to ensure accurate readings.- Stay updated with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices related to mud logging.- Adhere to safety procedures and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Candidate Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, or a related field.- Fresh graduated. Experience working as Mud Logger in the oil and gas industry is an advantage.- Strong knowledge of drilling operations, rock formation evaluation, and mud logging techniques.- Proficient in using mud logging software and equipment.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Strong attention to detail and ability to record and analyze data.- Good communication and teamwork skills.- to work in fast challenging work environment.- Willingness to work on a rotating shift schedule, including night shifts and weekends as needed.- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to health and safety regulations.
