Job Description

OVERALL JOB PURPOSE:This position is responsible of the Sales & Operations Planning Process of converting the Short & Long Term Sales Forecasts into monthly production Plans, Capacity Evaluations & Inventory Projection. Also its responsible of the Product Development Process in OTC. Safety, health and environment

  • Fully Comply with EH&S Principles & Regulations.
  • Demonstrate commitment to support a Zero Injury culture and set an example for others to follow.
  • Eliminate Waste throughout the workplace by creating a safer and more efficient environment.
Production
  • Deploy the Sales & Operations Planning Process for the Entire Rolling Mill & Can Reclamation Unit.
  • Develop the production & Inventory forecast.
  • Do the Capacity evaluation & Highlight any potential supply Risks as well as mitigation-Plans if any.
  • Define the Sales Blocks in OTC.
Quality
  • Comply with the approved working Procedures.
Management
  • Ensure the Effective achievement of the Planning functional objectives. Set the team and individual Objectives, managing Performance, Developing & Motivate staff.
  • Carry out the supervision of the Sales Operations Planning Team
COMMUNICATIONS & WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
  • Director, Supply Chain & Operations Planning is the direct Supervisor.
  • The MRC President, Manufacturing Unit Managers, Commercial, Quality, Procurement Engineering Teams Interfaces with the Sales and Operations Planning Process & activities
JOB RELEVANT INFORMATION (BOUNDARIES & DECISION MAKING AUTHORITY):
  • The Outcome of the Sales & Operations Planning Process is based on an approved set of assumptions as received from the different Stakeholders like Commercial Team, Manufacturing Unit Managers as well as Engineering Department... etc.
  • The product Development Process is carried out based on the Items Set up Forms developed by the Quality Department.
