Job Description

A Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating and planning maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of equipment and facilities. The role requires strong organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as a thorough understanding of maintenance processes. The Maintenance Planner will collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and execute effective maintenance plans. This position is located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.Responsibilities:

  1. Create and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule for equipment and facilities.
  2. Coordinate with maintenance technicians to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
  3. Review work orders and determine the necessary resources, tools, and materials for each job.
  4. Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
  5. Monitor and track equipment performance and maintenance activities to identify areas for improvement.
  6. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize maintenance processes and minimize disruptions to operations.
  7. Manage inventory of spare parts and ensure availability for maintenance activities.
  8. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
  9. Prepare reports and documentation related to maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and maintenance schedules.
  10. Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technological advancements in maintenance planning.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a similar role.
  3. Strong knowledge of maintenance processes and best practices.
  4. Proficient in using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar software.
  5. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  6. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  9. Ability to work well in a team environment.
  10. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices.
