Job Description

A leading construction company in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Civil Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 20 years of experience in civil engineering, with a strong background in construction projects. This is a senior-level position, requiring excellent leadership and project management skills.Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage all aspects of civil engineering projects, including planning, design, and implementation.
  2. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  3. Develop and implement project schedules, budgets, and quality control measures.
  4. Review and approve engineering plans, designs, and specifications.
  5. Supervise and mentor junior engineers and other staff members.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and standards.
  7. Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  8. Resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the course of a project.
  9. Prepare and present reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and stakeholders.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 20 years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on construction projects.
  2. Strong leadership and project management skills.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  5. Extensive knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  6. Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  9. Fluency in English is required, Arabic language skills are a plus.
  10. Experience working in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is preferred.
