Lab technician conducts required tests on the raw materials and finished goods to check their compliance with quality and safety standards. The incumbent prepares quality results reports and enters data into ERP system.Job ResponsibilitiesQuality Tests:Under the guidance of the manager schedule daily visits to warehouses for checking quality and adherence with storage and handling guidelinesConduct tests on the raw materials and processed goods as per specifications and record resultsEnsure First in First Out principle is applied while moving a batch for productionPrepare a report on test results and record the data into the ERP systemOversee fumigation processLaboratory Maintenance:Maintain the laboratory operations by keeping the equipment operational and keeping current with formulationsMaintain a stock of testing material and chemical and request for replenishment and replacement whenever necessary, while ensuring the lab remains operationalFollow health and safety standards in the laboratoryHSE:Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, procedure, and standards established by the companyWear appropriate personal protective equipment (PEE) when requiredPromptly report any work-related incident, injury, or near misses to Site Safety Team or Line Manager.
