Job Description

Our company in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our team. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in the field of accounting.Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with daily accounting tasks, including data entry, preparing and maintaining financial records, and reconciling bank statements.
  2. Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including analyzing financial data and preparing reports.
  3. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  4. Participate in audits and assist with audit preparations, including gathering and organizing supporting documents.
  5. Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payment to employees.
  6. Support the senior accountants and finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  2. Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a relevant field.
  3. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
  4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  7. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  8. Knowledge of local accounting regulations and standards.
  9. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  10. Strong organizational and time management skills.
