Job Purpose ? To lead heavy equipment Operation and maintenance crew for equipment and vehicle Operation and maintenance works consisting of Lead mechanic, Auto electrician, Heavy equipment operators, drivers, helper/labor category on day-to day planning and execution of the heavy equipment operation and maintenance.. Principal Accountabilities ? Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of equipment operation, maintenance or activities of the workers. ? Read specifications, such as equipment operation and maintenance manual , to determine construction requirements, operation and maintenance program or to plan procedures. ? Inspect equipment, verify conditions of equipment at site and quality or to ensure that all equipment are working properly and site requirements are met. ? Coordinate work activities with other construction site required activities. ? Assign work to employees, based on site requirements, equipment conditions or worker requirements of specific jobs. ? Identify, request and arrange material or worker requirements to complete maintenance of all equipment. ? Confer with managerial or technical personnel, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities. ? Analyze worker or equipment problems and recommend solutions, such as implementing routine preventive maintenance methods. ? Maintain regular attendance and timeliness on a consistent basis. ? Maintain regular safety toolbox talk with the workers ? Make daily accomplishment report of each crew. ? Supervise distribution of equipment and confirm all equipment at site are properly distributed and utalized Communications and Working Relationship ? With excellent communication skill both oral and written. Able to make correspondence with concerning project activities. ? Proven Team Leader that can highly motivate team players for attaining project objectives ? Used to have a good working relation with superior (. construction manager, safety manager, quality manager, etc.) Knowledge, Skills, and Experience ? At least graduate of any technical /industrial courses. ? Ten or more years of Heavy equipment operation and maintenance works for construction projects ? Minimum of 5 years in the same capacity as equipment maintenance supervisor ? Evaluate proposed projects, discuss enhancements, complete requests, and carry out projects. ? Minimize cost by utilizing sound preventive maintenance practices, and minimize break down of equipment Implement new technologies and methodologies in the maintenance field. ? Have the ability, skill set, and experience to troubleshoot heavy equipment. ? Ability to multi task and prioritize duties and daily tasks to meet deadlines and manage work load. ? Strong interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills. ? Experience on large, complex projects would be an advantage Physical Requirements of the Job ? In good health capable to handle pressure of very demanding job of a heavy equipment maintenance Supervisor. ? Willing to be assigned at project site.
