Job Description

The Heavy Duty Driver position in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is a vital role within the Business Support Services sector. This position requires a skilled individual who is responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety regulations. With a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience, the Heavy Duty Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the companys reputation for reliability.Responsibilities:

  1. Operate heavy-duty vehicles to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
  2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
  3. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  4. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
  5. Assist in loading and unloading cargo as required.
  6. Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
  7. Report any vehicle issues or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  8. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules.
  9. Ensure the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.
  10. Participate in training programs to enhance driving skills and safety practices.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Proven experience as a heavy-duty driver with a clean driving record.
  2. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.
  3. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  7. Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physically demanding tasks.
  8. Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
  9. Valid heavy-duty driving license.
  10. Commitment to safety and adherence to company policies.
