To Plan and Supervise seismic surveys and other applications of geophysical technologies ensuring provision of necessary preparation and arrangement of execution of seismic survey projects including contracts, Government permission and budgetary procedures and supervise the seismic data acquisition and processing while conducting assessment of data quality and preparing seismic operations reports. Applies the day ? to day operation assigned for the Exploration section to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Supports the Supervisor in technical evaluation and verification of contractor?s pre-qualification documents and assessment of each contractors? capabilities to ensure selection of appropriately qualified contractors at the optimum price and required standards.Provides specialized support during the execution of contracts to endure that both contracting parties fulfil their obligations. Monitors Navigation data and seismic data while supporting logistics for G&G operations such as import/transportation of equipment, hardware/software for marine seismic data acquisition/processing/interpretation, data storage and handling, and coordination with Contractors. Merges the new 2D or 3D seismic data received from contractors in order to analyze and interpret the data to identify prospects.
