Job Description

A data entry operator/technician is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering, updating, and maintaining data into computer systems and databases. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The data entry operator/technician will work closely with other team members to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data.Responsibilities:

  1. Enter data into computer systems and databases accurately and efficiently.
  2. Verify data by comparing it to source documents and make necessary corrections or adjustments.
  3. Ensure data integrity and accuracy by conducting regular data audits.
  4. Generate reports and perform data analysis as required.
  5. Maintain confidentiality and security of data by following established procedures.
  6. Collaborate with team members to update and improve data entry processes.
  7. Follow company policies and guidelines for data entry and data management.
  8. Provide support to other team members as needed.
Preferred Candidate:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  2. Proven experience as a data entry operator or in a similar role.
  3. Proficient in using computer systems and databases.
  4. Excellent typing skills with a high level of accuracy.
  5. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  7. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
  8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  9. Experience with data analysis and report generation is a plus.
  10. Knowledge of relevant software applications and tools.
