Job Description

?The Role Function:The primary function of a Credit Controller is the periodic assessment of current credit facilities given to customer in addition to deciding whether to give credit to new customers and their credit limit. ?It is also the responsibility of a Credit Controller to work with the collection department to activate /deactivate debtors based on collection behavior and to work with the legal department if needed. ?The credit controller needs to Analyze the company?s portfolio & prepare risk analysis to the Finance manager in addition to accessing credit bureaus and updating the required Information & become the main contact.?Credit Controller role, duties and responsibilitiesA?Credit Controller will be expected to perform any of the following tasks:??

  • Checking customer?s credit ratings with banks/ credit Bureaus

  • Analyzing the bank statements and financial statements of the companies & conducting sight visits if needed.
??
  • Evaluating the credit history of the company/owners.
??
  • Ensure \that all credit files are complete with periodic audits.
??
  • Setting up the terms and conditions of credit sales.
??
  • Timely and effective coordination with the collection team.
??
  • Undertake account reconciliations as required
??
  • Primary contact with SIMAH credit bureau and Bayan credit bureau.
??
  • Providing accounts information to internal departments.
??
  • Assist in the setting up of the credit control system & target collection.
??
  • Work with general managers to assign credit that ensures minimal risk while increasing business.
??
  • Reporting directly to the finance manager.
