Job Overview:The Credit Control Assistant Manager will support the credit control team in managing andoptimizing the organization?s credit processes. This role involves overseeing creditassessments, ensuring timely collections, and maintaining strong relationships with clients tominimize credit risk while contributing to overall financial performance.Key Responsibilities:? Assist in developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures to enhancethe efficiency of the credit management process.? Monitor and review credit applications, conducting thorough risk assessments andrecommending credit limits based on financial analysis.? Supervise the day-to-day activities of the credit control team, ensuring compliance withcompany policies and regulatory requirements.? Analyze aged debt reports, identifying trends and issues, and develop strategies toimprove collection performance.? Maintain relationships with clients, addressing inquiries and resolving disputes to ensuretimely payment and customer satisfaction.? Collaborate with sales and finance teams to align credit policies with business objectivesand provide guidance on credit-related matters.? Prepare regular reports on credit performance, including collections, outstanding debts,and cash flow forecasts for senior management.? Assist in training and mentoring junior staff within the credit control team to enhancetheir skills and performance.? Identify areas for improvement in credit processes and systems, recommending andimplementing changes as necessary.?
