JOB DESCRIPTIONDuties and Responsibilities:Greets the patient and courteously ask for his/her complaints. Request for patient identification and ask for a type of coverage (Cash, Insurance, and Aramco). If the patient is Insurance, to check eligibility of coverage at ASH. Scans patient information such as ID, Insurance card, medical report and enter in the patient electronic record. Open file for clinic visit. Charge services entered by the physician. Make appointments for the patients to follow up visit. Provides assistance to the patient whenever needed for location of Pharmacy, Laboratory, Radiology department and other areas in the hospital. Schedule re appointments or refer the patients to another clinic upon receiving notice from the clinician that he/she will not be available at the due appointment time. Provide personalized coordinated care, and support for patients and Families. Answered department telephone calls, using correct salutations and telephone etiquette. Ask patients if they need to Print invoice bills. Receiving or replaying an email from our department regarding updating information. Explain the percentage of insurance and different percentage with a specialist of doctors for the patients. Treat people with dignity, compassion, and respect. QUALIFICATIONS:High school //Diploma /Bachelors degree. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:At least 1year experience working as a receptionist. Typing skill and computer knowledge is essential. SPECIAL SKILLS: Ability to communicate with staff and patients with courtesy. Good grasp of the English language. Initiative and ability to work under stress. REQUIRED ATITUED TO PRFORM THE JOB:Focused. Objective. Flexible. Strong communication skills. Stress tolerance. Proper, effective and compassionate communication.
