Supervision and initiation of repair and maintenance of whole yard and terminal.
Supervision of civil works undertaken by contractors.
Monitoring and verification of contractors? works and bills.
Preparation of project reports, comparative statements and executive summaries of quotations/ bid documents.??
Preparation of technical specifications and bill of quantities for civil works.
Pavement repairs & markings.
Prepare CAD drawings related to civil works.
Any other task assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Work closely with the various departments of the terminal to estimate and plan projects in an agile environment.
Interacting with senior management for reporting.
Working?with senior management and other peers for strategy development and execution planning.?
Communicating financial and goal results and key performance indicators to direct reports.
Assist in release planning and prioritization based on technical feasibility and engineering constrains.
Assist management for selection of suitable consultant and contractors.
Keep track of schedules for timely completion of contracts
Financial impacts are to be controlled/ minimized due to any change in design after award of contract.
Prepares and approves designs for engineering projects in accordance with general engineering principals and standards; determines scope, designs, prepares drawings, specifications, bidding documents, contracts, and cost estimates; conducts and coordinates design and construction activities.
Provides technical assistance and consults with other departments regarding engineering functions, site development, drainage, and transportation.
Provide quality engineering reports, calculations, figures, design drawings, specifications and cost estimates.
Complete work within budget and time schedules, ensuring compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and standards.
