3.1 Purpose of thisPosition? The chief operating officer (COO) is a senior executive tasked withoverseeing the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of abusiness.3.2 Key Objectives? The COO mainly focuses on and execution the company?s business plan,according to the established business model.3.3 Key Responsibilities? Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures in linewith the visions of the company.? Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.? Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives(IT, Engineering, Civil Safety, and terminal operations).? Driving the company?s operating capabilities to surpass customersatisfaction and retention, and company goals.? Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.? Controlling company costs, and introducing tactical initiatives toaddress theft and other losses.? Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metricsand submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance.? Participate in expansion activities (investments, acquisitions, corporatealliances etc.)? Delegating responsibilities to ensure that the company can deliver andexceed customer?s expectations and meet internal KPIs.? Assess and implement improved processes and new technologies, andcollaborate with management regarding the implementation of newideas.? Completing performance reviews in a prudent manner.?
