Job Description

Aramco, one of the worlds leading integrated energy and chemicals companies, and international contract logistics provider DHL Supply Chain haveannounced the signing of a shareholders agreement for a to establish a New Company for Procurement and Logistics Hub in, Saudi Arabia, toenhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability. It would be the regions first such hub catering to customers in the industrial, energy, chemicaland petrochemical sectors. The joint venture aims to be operational in 2025 and provide reliable end-to-end integrated procurement and supplychain services for companies across the industrial, energy, chemical and petrochemical sectors. Our focus customers in the short term will be SaudiAramco and its own Affiliates. And in the long term would be all the industrial sectors within, Saudi Arabia and the ultimate goal is to reach theMENA region in future.Currently, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the role of Buyer, to be hired for this JV based in Al Khobar.Objective:Applies basic-to-mid-level Supply Chain and Project ProcurementManagement principles to procure basic-to-moderately-complex Goods andServices by making independent procurement decisions.Execute and ensure procurement processes and activities. Collaborate within the team in a range of activities associated with purchasinggoods, materials, supplies, and services on terms that are in the organizations best interest.Contributes to optimizing the Corporate Inventory levels by ensuring that sound Materials- and Demand-Management principles are adheredto and that the End-Users# Order Fill Rates are maintained at the highest possible Customer Service Level (CSL); under a Perfect OrderFulfillment philosophy, while increasing the inventory turns at Company?s and Suppliers warehouse locations.General Responsibilities:

  • Manage small value bidding with existing suppliers.
  • Review requisitions.
  • Purchase requisition approvals.
  • Purchase order creation.
  • Organize and execute the purchase to pay process ensuring compliance with global, regional, and local procedures and policies.
  • Explore and capture internal demand; handle non-catalogue requests.
  • Actively drive the use of procurement catalogues.
  • Build good relationships with suppliers and internal business partner.
  • Oversee and / or use the support of the purchasing support roles.
  • Provide user support on e-Purchasing tools (e.g. first level support, management of e-purchasing catalogue).
  • Provide second level support for issue solving and master data management.
  • Support Senior Buyer with continuous process improvement.
