?1.?Key Results Area??????????Responsible for posting all accounts payable transactions in the books according to the company policy and procedure.?Receive local supplier?s invoices through purchasing office for further verifying and processing to update an entry in the computer system for facilitating payments.?Receive invoices for imported materials and calculates the total cost on each item including insurance, freight, clearing and customs to facilitate determine costs for costing purposes.?Inputs imported materials receipts in the computer system and checks and verifies the stores balances and suppliers report with the general ledger to make necessary adjustment in case of misbalance or missed input entry.?Prepares cheques on partial basis and advises accounts clerk to prepare cheque against suppliers invoice to meet the payment terms commitment made by the company.?Follow up with the bank on bills payables to foreign suppliers on maturity date and receives debit advises for appropriate recording.?Reconciles individual suppliers account as and when the statement of account is received from the suppliers..?Assists finance manager in various activities on clarifying and checking queries for day to day functioning.?Provides suppliers report to enable the management to have a clear idea of the periodical balance of A/C?s payables.
