Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting roles, with a strong background in financial management and reporting. The Accountant will be responsible for managing all financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  2. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
  3. Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes
  4. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing input on financial performance and trends
  5. Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax planning and filing
  6. Monitor and reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
  7. Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management
  8. Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to ensure accurate and timely completion of audits
  9. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy of financial operations
  10. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure data integrity
Preferred Candidate:
  1. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  2. Professional certification such as CPA or ACCA is preferred
  3. Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting regulations and standards
  4. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications
  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  6. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  8. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  9. Experience in the private sector or similar industry is a plus
  10. Fluency in English and Arabic
