Graduate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineers with minimum 7 years of inspection experience in construction industries out of which 4 years shall be gained in oil and gas facility construction after CSWIP or BGAS qualification.Welding Inspector shall possess CSWIP 3.1 / AWS for welding inspection orequivalent and Certified to ASNT level II in RT, PT, MT and UT techniques.Painting Inspector shall possess min. BGAS II or equivalent in NACE for paintinginspectionInspector Roles & Responsibilities. Inspector (QA/QC Inspector & TPI) roles and responsibilities shall be as follows but not limited to: ?Verify the product conformance to contractual requirements at various stages of the fabrication/manufacturing as stated in approved QCP / ITP and applicable technical specifications.? Review quality documentation to verify product conformance to contractualrequirements.? Carry out surveillance inspections to verify processes and procedurescompliance.? Issue Inspection Release Note of Product/ Sign test packs (QA/QCdossier).? Report to relevant authorities on daily, weekly and other definedfrequencies as applicable.The surveillance role shall be as follows but not limited to:?To monitor manufacturers/contractors? activities with respect to qualityperformance.?To ensure that the materials are from the approved suppliers.?To ensure close out of NCRs with suitable corrective and preventiveactions.
